William Conescu’s first novel, Being Written, which was released by Harper Perennial in September 2008, is the story of a man who knows he’s a minor character in a book and the lengths to which he'll go to win a bigger part. William’s short stories have appeared in The Gettysburg Review, New Letters, Green Mountains Review, and elsewhere. He lives in Chapel Hill, North Carolina.
